Creating Better Cities Through Placemaking

Expotrade is delighted to announce the return of the Australian Placemaking Summit, scheduled for Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 June at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Since its inception in May 2022, the Australian Placemaking Summit has experienced remarkable and continuous success, establishing itself as the premier forum for placemakers in the Southern Hemisphere.

The summit returns to Melbourne in 2025 to explore placemaking’s vital role in shaping Australian cities and towns. This two-day event brings together urban planners, designers, architects, engineers, policymakers, and developers from both public and private sectors to network, share insights, and tackle key challenges.

Regardless of your role in the placemaking or urban development landscape, this summit is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept, equipping you with the essential blend of people-focused practices and commercial insights necessary for successful placemaking initiatives. Join us at this exciting event to learn from and collaborate with leading experts in the fields of urban development and placemaking.
